Education

Dong-Jin Lee received the B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Korea University, Seoul, Republic of Korea, in 2010, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, Republic of Korea, in 2017

Professional Experience

From 2017 to 2019, he was a Researcher with the Department of I&C and Electrical Engineering at the Korea Institute of Nuclear Safety (KINS), Daejeon, where he focused on the safety evaluation and EMC verification of I&C equipment for nuclear power plants. From 2019 to 2026, he served as a Senior Researcher with the Korea Railroad Research Institute (KRRI), Uiwang, Republic of Korea, specializing in railway signaling and communication systems.

Research Interests

His research interests include RF and microwave antenna systems, next-generation railway communication (5G-R/LTE-R), wireless power transfer, and RF energy harvesting. He is also actively involved in developing intelligent perception systems and hazard analysis for autonomous trains using multi-sensor fusion technologies.
