Abstract
The school engagement is a way of improving learning outcomes and fortifying educational accountability by the establishment of positive relationships between school and students. This study analyzed the KEEP data of total 1,113 college students to identify the influence of school engagement on learning outcomes and the policy of improving the level of school engagement. As the results of regression analysis, it was verified that the behavioral engagement and the cognitive engagement significantly influenced on academic achievement; the emotional engagement facilitated students' decision on future work and supported the stability in school life. The school engagement was influenced by the physical environment of university, the social relationship with faculty members, senior students and colleagues; the activities of counselling and the systematics in curriculum improved the level of school engagement as well.
