Abstract
This study was accomplished to analyze the performance of integrated and split ventilation system using computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and the performance of integrated ventilation system using measuring instruments (velocity, pressure, sound, electric power). With a integrated system, both supply and exhaust are in one unit, while for a split system, they are installed separately. Star-CCM+ was used to study the effect of inlet velocity and diffuser shapes. Using a step-down method, CO2 concentration was calculated to compare ventilation efficiency. The result of this study can be used to enhance indoor air quality by selecting optimal ventilation system.
