Abstract

In this study, the priority of mine reclamation project was derived by using Analytic Hierarchy Process. Analytic Hierarchy Process is the representative decision-making methodology to decide a rational economic, business and industrial policy. The evaluation index of mine reclamation program and project were set and opinion of mine reclamation experts about the evaluation index were analyzed in this study. As a results of analysis, it is concluded that this mine reclamation program have to focus on ‘pollution prevention project in the public goods’ and ‘the seriousness of general public’. In addition, analysis of the priority of each mine reclamation project concludes that each mine reclamation project have to focus on ecological damage and the loss of life. In order to perform an effective mine reclamation policy, policy makers must establish mine reclamation policy, focusing on role as public goods of mine reclamation program and minimization of damage of ecosystem and life.
