Abstract

Middle and high school transcripts are identified as a source of stress within the Korean community. The GPA score and ranking is an important piece of information within transcripts that help students get noticed these days. Transcript information has become a sensitive piece of communication between parents and students, which has induce a competitive education environment. This research contains service design process of design council that is based on the double diamond model. Also through using the qualitative research method of FGI in current educational situations, insights were discovered in the relationship between parents and students. Superior transcripts not only informs about GPA and ranking it also tends to associates with a better life during the school semester as well as good communication between parents and students. This method allows for students to strive for a specific goal and allows for more independence. After using FGI, the results showed improved relationships between teachers, principles and students, which allowed for a more stress free environment. Future research will be discussed and studied to solve current severe educational issues.
