Abstract
The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the impact of three different flexible work arrangements, focusing on time and space flexibility, as well as the level of flexibility provided. These arrangements include flextime, flexi-work, and telework. The study aims to assess their influence on organizational members’ perceptions of work-family spillover. We evaluate both the utilization and perceived usability of these arrangements and examine how they affect both positive and negative work-family spillover. Using data from the 2022 Women Managers Panel Survey, we validate their impact on employees’ transitions from work to home. This research provides practical recommendations for enhancing the effectiveness of flexible work arrangements and contributes to theoretical discussions on workplace flexibility.
