Abstract
The purposes of the study were to analyse the multicultural education program, to investigate the problems involved, and to present improvement of it . The study was carried out through review of literature and content analysis. Special class programs for foreign labor children have managed integration education with general class continuously. And it has secured enough subject and supplementary lesson for school life, managed integration education and Pull Out with general students. Non-authorized schools have extended diecretional activity, mother language, english, korean language, connected after-school activity. Multicultural education program in alternative school was short of continuity, sequence. integrity of educational contents, was insufficient basic survey of incoming student, foreign language lecturer, teaching materials, variety of educational contents, implement and facility, creative experience activity, and career education and vocational education. Therefore, for development of multicultural education program, Korean language and social studies subjects must run 50/100 and over school hour in curriculum, 180 number of school days, extend diecretional activity, and manage dual language education, personality and emotion education, career and vocational education etc.
