Abstract

As the population in urban areas becomes denser and infrastructure expansion is required, underground space development projects using urban deep tunnels such as GTX(Great Train eXpress) are in progress. Urban deep tunnels utilize measurement to manage stability and usability, considering construction adjacent to existing structures. However, the measurement management scope presented in the proximity construction-related standards is stated as a scope to cover a wide area without distinction of ground conditions such as rock mass grade. Therefore, In this study, 3D numerical analysis was used to analyze surface subsidence due to excavation of deep tunnels by rock grade and to propose longitudinal measurement management period for adjacent structures. In addition, the adequacy of the proposed measurement management range was verified by applying it to the urban tunnel design section adjacent to the ground structure.
