디지털 기술을 접목한 난타북 디자인 제안

With increased demand and supply for Nanta, its contents have been created in various ways, nowadays. In such situation, there is a need for a differentiated service provided for people who have never experienced Nanta before. The attempt to use digital technology onto objects is being utilized for products in numerous areas and the significance of design has been risen. The purpose of this study is to create appropriate structures and forms of product so as to run digital technology when it comes to combination of Nanta drum that is an acoustic instrument and digital technology, and to develop and suggest hardware of Nanta drum. First of all, designing Nanta drum using digital technology was carried out to suggest hardware design. And a case of ‘smart device’ that is the most similar concept to research object was compared and analysed. Through the analysis, the fact that overall product design is changed due to the impact of the existing components which are omitted when combining digital technology onto objects was found. By analysing acoustic drum and electronic drum, a structure and a form for Nanta drum that is digital technology used could be identified. The proper structure and product form for Nanta drum could be chosen by setting a purpose of usage, and a specific design process was able to be conducted based on each purpose of usage.
