생성형 AI를 활용한 영화 시나리오 창작의 실험적 고찰 - 사이버펑크 장르를 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to check whether the Generative AI tool can be used to shorten the film scenario creation process and increase the completeness of the work. Still, movies are in the spotlight as a major genre driving the popularity of K-content. However, the film is completed only through a complicated process of pre-production-post-production. Since the movie requires a large amount of capital, numerous procedures are involved from the planning stage, and the scenario is at the center. In this paper, ChatGPT was used to create a Cyberpunk scenario, a sub-genre of SF with clear audiovisual and formal characteristics. And it was confirmed that the results conformed to the universal characteristics of the genre. In addition, AI tools Midjourney and Runway Gen3 were used to implement the characters and background shots of the final scenario as images. The results checked the degree of closeness and completeness with the cinematic characteristics of the genre. When qualitative and quantitative evaluations are combined in terms of efficiency, accuracy, and creativity, the Generative AI-based creative scenario seems to generally fit the characteristics of the genre. However, it was found to be insufficient in terms of accuracy and creativity. In terms of efficiency, it is predicted to contribute significantly to the future scenario and film production process.
