스마트조명시스템 기반 범죄예방 디자인 방안 연구 -금남로 공원 개선사례 중심으로-

Research Background-Purpose, The evolution of light sources by science and technology has played an important role as an important public good that constitutes the urban environment, complementing the aspect of specification and atmosphere through artificial lighting. This study analyzed park improvement cases using smart lighting systems and suggested crime prevention design directions in order to create a safe zone as lighting and intelligent information technology, which are the main physical means of crime prevention, are combined to change into a smart lighting system that connects humans and the environment. Research Method-Scope, Based on prior research and literature-related data, crime prevention, technology change, and lighting practice were combined, and the characteristics of the smart lighting system were conceptualized as Enhanced Visibility, Morphological Deepening, Immersive Experience, Pleasant Space, and Comfort Environment in terms of Modular Configuration and ambience. With the recent increase in night crimes and incidents in urban parks, the current status and status of park lighting, type and location of park-related crimes, national park grade classification standards, and park lighting guides by national city were identified, and a crime prevention smart lighting design checklist was formed to create a safe zone after verifying the appropriateness of the characteristics of the smart lighting system with expert FGI. Case Selection- Analysis, In order to verify the effectiveness of crime prevention, importance, reliability, and validity of the analysis criteria and contents, focusing on the improvement of Geumnam-ro Park using smart lighting systems in Gwangju Metropolitan City in 2021, three places (exit, rest square, and walkway) with high flow of citizens were selected and statistical analysis was conducted through surveys. As a result of the analysis, the smart lighting system was effective in preventing crime, and it showed importance in the order of Enhanced Visibility, Morphological Deepening, and Pleasant Space. In addition, Enhanced Visibility, Morphological Deepening, Modular Configuration and Immersive Experience, Pleasant Space, and Comfort Environment were classified as common factors, and were named Spatialization Lighting and Regenerative Lighting, respectively. After that, in consideration of the correlation of the analysis criteria, the direction of crime prevention design based on the smart lighting system was schematized. Conclusion, There were many studies related to the lighting environment, technology, and design for crime prevention, but studies that approached crime prevention centered on smart lighting systems were insufficient. Through this study, the sustainability-oriented smart lighting system can be used as basic data for related studies and enhancing the value of crime prevention design as a strategic public good.
