Abstract
The Changing of paradigm from Charactor era to Image era is also changing people's congnitive method. Deleuze, Benjamin and MacLuhan gave a defination of visual tactility that had been lost since the Renaissance and suggested what is profer in Image era.
Recently, smart phone which are added functions of computer technology to mobile phone become popular and is developed a hardware system than mobile phone in this generation. For that reason, it is possible to apply visual tactility in user interface design of the smart phone. Visual tactility can lead to various sensibility to user and easy to congnitive the importance of information.
Therefore, this thesis aimed at the user's preference analysis of visual tactility by age and gender when it applied in user interface design of smart phone.
