Abstract
The primary purpose of this study was to explore the relationships among involvement, satisfaction, andcommitment in volunteerism for sport event volunteers. The sample consisted of 253 sport volunteers. Datawere collected from volunteers for selected 5 sport activitiesb y using the convenience sampling technique inSeoul, Korea. Confirmatory factor analyses for involvement andc ommitment revealed similar factor structuresto those reported in previous sport and leisure research. Resutsl indicated that all subdimensions of involvementare statistically and significantly related to satisfaction in volunteerism. The findings also showed tha tsatisfaction is statistically and significantly predictive of all subcomponents of commitment in volunteerism. Thecurrent study identified the relationship among satisfaction, nivolvement, and commitment in volunteerism fo rsport volunteers from a multidimensional perspectives. It can be expected to provide theoretical framework inmanaging sport volunteers.
