Abstract
Purpose The purpose of this research was to investigate the mediating effect of appearance orientation and evaluation on the relationship between sport influencers and participation in leisure sports among college students. Methods We examined 256 data for this purpose. SEM were conducted using the PASW Statistics and AMOS 25 programs. Result The main results were as follows. First, Among the characteristics of sports influencers, physical attractiveness and similarity were found to have a positive influence on the appearance and orientation of the study subjects. Second, Only similarity factors among the characteristics of sports influencers were found to have a positive effect on the appearance evaluation of the subjects. Conclusion It can be seen that leisure sports participation among the subjects of this study is achieved through the mediating effect between influencers' similarity and appearance evaluation.
