Abstract
he purpose of this study is to suggest improved visual expression elements in mobile web interaction design. In this research, the concepts and the fundamental principles of mobile web interaction design, and its visual expression were discussed. The winning mobile web service works of 2015 Web Award Korea were selected as case studies. For this study, the visual expression elements in design from previous researches and the essentials of interaction by Alan Copper were reviewed. To analyze the visual expression in selected case studies from winning mobile web service works of 2015 Web Award Korea, color combination, essentials of interaction, graphic images, metaphor of design, and general layout were recommended as important visual expression elements in mobile web interaction design. As results, the improved design elements of visual expression (color, interaction, graphic, metaphor, layout) showed some possibilities to use it as an evaluation criteria for mobile interaction design cases in the future. The suggested visual expression elements of mobile web interaction will give a simple guideline to design interactive mobile web in more effective ways.
