Abstract
The health care for infants under 24 months requires continuous attention and appropriate measures from their parents. This may cause the parents to suffer from stress in terms of parenting their child. In this study, we have developed a real-time health care service for infants to reduce the stress from parenting. For this, we have analyzed the behavior patterns of parents and extracted some needs using 'A stakeholder interview' and 'A Day in the Life' one of methods for service design. A new service was proposed after analyzing that needs and existing services. The result of this study shows that the product transmitting infant's information to parent's smart-phone in real-time is desired after measuring infant's breathing, heart rate, body temperature, and the infant's sleep position. The government healthcare system for infants should be also supplemented. We expect parenting stress could be lightened by the service derived from this study.
