Abstract
Big data and related technologies have been expected to have a significant impact on all sectors of the energy system, but the domestic energy data-related industrial ecosystem is not as active as expected. In order for the energy data-based service, which is the final stage of the energy data value chain, to be distributed smoothly from a mid- to long-term point of view, it must be developed in a way that satisfies the needs of users who actually adopt and use the service. This study provides implications for the development of related services in the future by systematizing factors that affect the consumer acceptance of energy data utilization services and analyzing the relative importance of those factors. As a methodology for analysis, the Analytic Hierarchy Process, a multi-criteria decision-making method, was used, and a survey was conducted on domestic data and energy experts to collect data. As a result of the relative importance analysis, it was analyzed that "improving economic feasibility" in the case of the first level and "saving energy bills" in the case of the second level should be considered as the most important in order to improve consumer acceptance of energy data utilization services. Therefore, in order to increase consumer acceptance of service use, it is necessary to develop a service that maximizes and visualizes the saving of users" energy bills and actively promote the corresponding part. In terms of service functionality, it is analyzed that consumer acceptance will be higher for converged services that combine more than two types of energy data or combine non-energy data with energy data rather than a single energy data-based service using only power sector data. The results of this study can be used as a reference for the government and policy makers, as well as businesses who want to promote related projects. In addition, it is judged that it can be used as a reference for developing energy data utilization services and establishing related business strategies.
