Abstract
The primary purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of respect from the respective organization and organizational commitment on volunteers' intention to continue volunteerism in leisure service program The sample consisted of 257volunteers enrolled in community service programs. Data were collected from volunteers from selected 6 churches by using the convenience sampling technique in Seoul, Korea. Findings indicate that volunteers' perceived respect from the respective organization and volunteers' commitment to the organization explain volunteers' intention to continue volunteerism at the respective organization. It implies that volunteers' perceived respect from the organization and organizational commitment are antecedents of intention to continue volunteerism at the respective organization. Thus, it is important to make volunteers feel respected from the respective organization. It can be expected the findings of the current study provide theoretical framework in managing volunteers in leisure service organizations.
