Abstract

This study is an empirical study on the influencing factors of Internet addiction of children. The dependent variable is the adolescents' internet addiction in infant and toddlers. The independent variables are demographic factors (gender, age), individual psychological factors (negative/positive psychology), environmental factors (family factor, social factor, parental Internet usage guidelines), behavioral factors (Internet use time, purpose of use). As a result, family factors and psychological factors were found to be important factors for Internet addiction in infants. Children aged 5 to 9 years have not yet developed mental development. Therefore, external shocks and experiences during this period are likely to form as lifelong lifelines. Especially, as the spread of smartphones is rapidly expanding, the age of first encountering the Internet is rapidly lowering to the child class of 4-5 years recently. In order to lower the Internet addiction of the infant and toddler class, it is necessary to improve prevention education of addiction in infant education institution and to promote prevention of Internet addiction for parents.
