Abstract

The future society will continue to change into a complex and diversified society with advanced science and technology, and will have a number of conundrums and social phenomena which can’t be fixed by individual knowledge of each study field.
Thus, our society desperately needs new challenging ideas and a high level of creativity and integrated thinking across various domains of knowledge. The study method, contents and the result of this study are summarized as below.
This study intends to rearrange the detailed evaluation items for "DOT LAB program" among STEAM programs executed by Korea Science & Art Forum. The education evaluation criteria and detailed index items up to vol.20 are divided into 5 areas, and additionally extended to 6 areas and reformed. The detailed index that corresponds to fianl 6 evaluation areas that are rearranged is divided by department, and the quantitative diagnosis was carried out for reliability verification and correlation and difference verification using the analysis tool, SPSS 21.0 by distributing the questionnaires.
Through the statistical verification of group difference, we intend to set the hypothesis about what differences are there between the preliminary teacher group and student group. In this paper, we provide the quantitative evaluation method for each item of STEAM education program and application method to the improvement (CQI) of education curriculum based on the differences of the original education intention and education effect.
