Abstract
In this study, damage caused by map-cracking that appears in PSC sleepers in use is mostly presumed to be a quality control problem during the manufacturing process. In particular, AAR(Alkali-Aggregate Reaction) and DEF(Delayed Ettringite Formation) due to aggregate quality and curing problems are pointed out, and improvement measures are sought. It has been prepared and is being implemented. However, various and complex quality fluctuation factors during the production process can lead to early damage, so is seems necessary to accumulate quality-related data and statistics such as test reports at the time of production. Therefore, in this study, to understand the status of quality control in the PSC sleeper production process, the maximum quality test data recorded to date was put into a database. Among the data, we would like to identify the quality characteristics of fine aggregates, which have had many difficulties in quality control such as aggregate supply and demand problems and quality instability; we also propose quality control measures.
