Abstract
Recently there are so many devices and media contents. So to communicate between device and contents, many researches are studied for user interface based on gesture recognition in domestic and foreign actively. User interface based on gesture is more directly and simpler than other interfaces. Therefore the interface provides more natural user interaction. Besides user interface based on gesture recognition is effective in mobile device which have limited condition with contents. However these gesture recognition methods are separated by trajectory of one or few objects. Thus similarity, lighting and environment factor raise system error. So actually developed product apply greatly simple, limited and few gesutres. In this paper, we compare touch and touchless methods to analyze advantage and disadvantage. And we study recognition functions based on hand and device at touchless recognition device environment.
