Abstract
As recently, the smart phone requires the service using mobility and portability in the search environment mainly with text basis, the study on the augmented reality are conducted vigorously. The purpose of this study is to suggest the improvements and supplements in the characteristics and the constraints of the augmented reality designs through the 4 case-analyses of the product promotional applications. The summary of the study results are as follows. For overall characteristic, 'Transformer 3' marked highest scores and followed by 'Vita 500', Soul GDI', 'Chamisul Soju' in order. The analysis results on the sublevel factors of the characteristics among the products showed that the 'Transformer 3' represented the highest positive results in all areas of the interactivity, the sense of reality, the sense of absorption, and the degree of interests. For the evaluation on the overall constraints, the higher negative scores were represented from 'Soul GDI', 'Chamisul Soju', 'Vita 500' and 'Transformer 3' in order, In the sublevel factors of the constraints by each product, the 'Chamisul Soju' marked highest scores in 'Boring', 'Soul GDI' marked highest in low accuracy, and 'Chamisul Soju' marked highest in the bad screen quality. As shown in this study, the augmented reality requires the designs realistically linking the perceptions and actions in the mixed world, where the users and the designs are effectively interacting, rather than the simple and interesting visual designs. In addition, the designs, which the users can be absorbed through exploratory interactions having fun, and which can motivate the user to have interests and understand, are the essential in using the augmented reality.
