Abstract
This study analyzes the determinants of the operation performance of natural gas (NG) combined cycle generators using operating performance data from the last five years of the Daily Start & Stop (DSS) generator and the Weekly Start & Stop (WSS) generator located in Incheon. As a result of the analysis, the utilization rate, power reserve ratio, power transaction volume of NG combined cycle power generation, and the proportion of renewable energy (RE) facilities were positively correlated with the number of equivalent starts of DSS generators, and power market supply capacity and power supply priority were negatively correlated with them. It was analyzed that the utilization rate and the proportion of RE facilities had a positive correlation with the equivalent baseload hous of the WSS generator, and the power reserve ratio and the power transaction volume of NG combined cycle power generation had a negative correlation with it.
