청년정책 활용을 증진시키기 위한 모바일 애플리케이션 컨셉 및 디자인 방향성 제안

The problems related to social structure, faced by young people are gradually deepening as the times go by. Accordingly, the need for national policies to support young people is increasing, and specific discussions on youth policies are also increasing. However, many young people show low participation in youth policy overall, such as not knowing the existence of youth policy, having difficulty grasping the detailed information of the policy, or not being able to recognize the policy benefits that apply to them. In this background, this study aims to propose service concepts and design directions for a mobile application to help young people more easily receive and participate in youth policies. Specific research methods for this study are described as follows. First, basic concepts related to youth policies were defined for this study and current status of the domain was investigated through desk research and prior research analysis. Second, problems related to young people’s participation in youth policies were explored through user research including user surveys, semi-structured interviews, and user observations, and the research data were analyzed to derive the overall service concept, main characteristics, and detailed functions of the service. As a result, the service which this study proposes has three characteristics: “tailored” for each young person, “not to forget” to participate in policy, and “helped” to participate in youth policy information. Also these service characteristics have relevant functions including policy calendar, interest policy bookmark, custom policy recommendation, document checklist, and notification setting. Third, in order to verify the validity of the study results, service usability test was conducted with a service prototype, and research contribution was accordingly clarified and future research directions were proposed. We expect that the results of this study can be used as basic data for services that can improve the accessibility and utilization of youth policies of the young generation.
