Abstract

The research has studied into difference in understanding and use of experience of filtering programs for media materials harmful to teenagers by carrying out keyword network analysis on the students and the parents in an effort to understand the effectiveness of the policy for compulsory installation for the filtering program for media materials harmful to teenagers. First, as a result of the keyword network analysis that was carried out to investigate into the children and parents differences in perception concerning filtering program for media materials harmful to teenagers, it was found that games, preventing addiction, location queries, time limit and other key words were extracted from the parents bulletin board, showing positive views of the filtering program held by the parents. On the contrary, it was understood that deleting, deactivating, disabling, bypass, violence of privacy and other key words were extracted, showing negative views on the filtering program held by children. In-depth discussions on filtering program for media materials harmful to teenagers that was attained through the research is expected to be of great help in providing certainty on abolition of regulatory policies, effectiveness on regulatory policies and direction for change.
