Abstract

High-rise buildings have been rapidly built in Asia after 1990s since it was centered in the United States before 1990s. According to an annual report released by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH), 144 high-rise buildings from 23 countries are completed within a year, 15 of which are super talls with over 300 meters. There are 126 super talls among 1,319 high-rise buildings. This article aims to explore methods to preventing the concentration of evacuation routes for residents in case of urgent evacuation arisen from fire, thereby standardizing object models and defining objects in order to develop fire-based BIM library and IOT interworking It is to standardize object model and define object for developing fire based BIM library. To this end, we reviewed various laws and guidelines, analyzed the fire simulation software, searched for differentiation and direction, and collected product information for realistic model implementation. The type information of the product model is used as an example of development of the fire-based BIM library.
