Abstract
Tourism English Education is supposed to foster fluent English bilingual professionals who can work in the tourism industry, in which quality service by human resources is the key factor in its success. This research initiated from the recognition of the reality where the current tourism English education is not effective enough to achieve the goal. In the communicative tourism English education, students' participation and individual communication styles has been considered very important. As it can be seen in the previous researches, argumentative communicators seem to have better communication skills, think critically and show better learning ability. On the other hand, the communication apprehension seems to inhibit the improvement of the communication skills. Despite the importance of communication styles and apprehension, studies on tourism English education tend to be interested only in the trend of satisfaction level according to the changes in teaching methods while it's hard to find the studies on the students' communication styles and apprehension. This research investigated the effect of the communication styles such as the debate style and the aggressive style and the communication apprehension on the satisfaction of the tourism English education.
