Abstract
The object of this study is to provide a basis of fair scoring system by analyzing excellent male Taekwondo Poomsae player’s Keumgamg Poomsae rotation movement to see if the scoring system is quantifiable as the scores are made with qualitative scoring system of expressiveness.
The experiment was performed slope for experts while the kinematic three dimensional data was recorded and analyzed.
Result value is a movement quantified result with Jerk-cost, that judges the movement is swift when the value is closer to zero(0). In Keumgang Poomsae rotation movement, the resultant of Jerk-cost value on the hand of the excellent 5 players came out the same. Rather than from success to failure, the resultant of Jerk-cost value was statistically showing the meaningful difference.
