Abstract
This study attempted to measure the performance effectiveness of School Safety Network Establishment Project(Wee project) by the data, ‘School Information Announcement’, with the information of Wee project at high schools. The group comparison analysis including ANOVA and Kruskal-Wallis method conducted to identify the differences in performance between the school running Wee class for 1 year and the school more than 2 years, with the school that did not participate in Wee project. The results of analysis suggested that the high schools running Wee project for more than 2 years displayed the positive effects of the projects by decreasing the level of school violence, and improving the students’ academic performance. The level of school violence and danger produced from 7 variables by factor analysis was positively affected by the students participation to after school activities and the ratio of full-time service teachers. The results of this study suggested that the number of years of running Wee class could be critical elements to decide the success of Wee project. The students' participation and the status of teachers in high school would enhance the effectiveness of Wee project as well.
