Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the perception on teacher dispositions of the Korean Language Education Volunteers of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). To this end, a survey on teacher dispositions was conducted on 75 Korean language education volunteers. As a result, it was found that they were well aware of teacher dispositions, and among several variables, there were statistically significant differences in age and the field of Korean language education experience, but there were no significant differences in gender, Korean language education major, and educational experience. Among them, whether or not to major in Korean language education has a significant impact on the formation of the identity of Korean language teachers, although there is little significance regarding the teacher dispositions. These results help to establish the direction of education on belief-based elements in future Korean teacher education.
