Abstract
Fright Information Network is defined as an information system that connects shippers and truckers. Despite the importance, an empirical study on the analysis of Fright Information Network within business processes is limited. This paper presents business process analysis and improvement of Freight Information Network. Among process analysis methods ARIS (Architecture of Integrated Information System) has been applied to the properties and object, and S-BPM (Subject-oriented Business Process Management) analysis was performed on the subject of truckers and shippers. Process mining techniques were applied to the log data obtained from the actual Freight Information Networks. Consequently, the process models of the Freight Information Network have been presented by using BPMN(Business Process Modeling Notation). As a result of the analysis, potential improvements were suggested and their solutions were explored. It is expected that this paper can be utilized as a reference to establish improvement strategies in the business processes of the Freight Information Networks.
