Abstract
The core of the automotive industry’s strategy to handle climate change can beexplained as the development and distribution of vehicles with high fuelefficienciesand low emissions. Clean diesel, hydrogen fuel cell, electric, andespecially hybrid power-train vehicles have been actively studied. Thispaperdynamically analyzes the performance of a hybrid system’s five drivingmodes. The research subject consists of one engine, two electric motors, twosimple planetary gears, and one compound planetary gear with five clutches. Todefine the steady state equation of the system, interaction formulas for the fivedriving modes are introduced with motion variables and torque variables. Theseformulas are then used toanalyze the speeds, torques, and power flows of eachmode.
