Abstract
The purpose of this study is to investigate the satisfaction of various physical
environmental factors of the competition recognized by dragon boat participants held at
APEC Park in Haeundae, Busan, and discuss ways to utilize natural tourism sites. To achieve
this goal, 300 athletes who participated in the 2019 Busan Mayor's Busan International
Dragon Boat Competition were sampled using a convenient sampling method, and finally 261
copies of the data were analyzed using the SPSS 21.0 program. In addition, exploratory
factor analysis was conducted to verify the constitutional validity of the corresponding
variable, and differences between the corresponding groups were identified based on T-test
analysis and One-way ANOVA analysis. As a result, first, while the factors of satisfaction of
the competition environment recognized by the dragon boat participants were small,
participation was found in the order of participation, suitability of the competition venue,
service response, and economy, and the accessibility was the lowest. Second, there were
differences in accessibility, economic feasibility, and suitability of the competition
environment factors according to the level of athletes participating in the competition. Third,
there were differences in accessibility and economics of satisfaction factors for the
competition environment according to the nationality of the athletes participating in the
competition.
