An efficient design of graycode circuit using reversible logic

Abstract

Recently quantum computer has become a topic and reversible logic has attracted considerable interest in the past few years. Reversible logic circuit is almost no loss of information and thermal energy. Also it prevents the life of circuit is reduced. In addition it has a advantages such as a CMOS design, nano-technology etc. with low power consumption. Initial after the reversible logic gates Toffoli, Fredkin has been presented, the study of the logic gate has been actively carried out and the study of reversible logic circuit that can bring the benefits has been advanced through the synthesis of quantum circuit and reversible logic by applying the reversible logic such as code converter, adder etc. In this paper described for the reversible logic gate and reversible circuit. Also it presents the direction of utilization and prospects of reversible logic research through that utilize reversible logic gate.
