Abstract

Recently, watermarking based positioning techniques using terrestrial digital TV signal have been proposed since they are also cost-free and can overcome the limitations of GPS. However, in the previous watermarking based methods, the detection accuracy is low and additional data rate is too low. Thus we proposed a novel DTV signal based positioning technique using a new watermarking technique by MOK-ZCD (M-ary Orthogonal Keying-Zero Correlation Duration) method. From the simulation results, we obtained improved detection accuracies and higher peak data rate.
