N2 - Recent smart devices offer technologies that can measure indoor as well as outdoor locations. In the case of outdoor positioning, a global positioning system (GPS) is generally used. There is a limit to the method of using the GPS signal for indoor positioning. A typical indoor positioning method is to use a beacon based on bluetooth low energy (BLE). However, this method has disadvantages that needs to be charged, as well as additional hardware is needed. This paper proposes indoor positioning technology using optical camera communication (OCC) which can overcome these disadvantages of existing positioning method. Especially, this paper proposes a method to acquire the relative location information of the smart device camera of the audience in the concert hall. It is expected that the location information acquired through the proposed method in this paper can be used as application program data that is stored with the captured images and provides various viewpoints.
