Analysis of Electromagnetic Interference from Current Source on Digital Module

Abstract

This paper investigates electromagnetic analysis of the closed cabinet used in nuclear power plants when the unwanted electric-line current is placed onto the digital module. Based on Helmholtz's equation in conjunction with both the separation of variables and the superposition principle, we utilize the mode-matching method to obtain a set of simultaneous equations for modal coefficients. We computationally derive electromagnetic field distributions to estimate that how much the undesired current source influence on adjacent digital modules.
