Abstract

In recent years, the construction industry has implemented incentive payment systems to reduce accident rates and developed a new digital platform for safety incentives in line with digitalization trends. However, research on the effectiveness of these safety incentive digital platforms is lacking. This study analyzes the impact of the safety incentive digital platform on workers' safety attitudes and site safety performance. Results indicate that the high-use group achieved a safety awareness score of 81.45, which is 9.5% higher than the low-use group, and a fatality rate of 0.64, 55% lower than that of the low-use group. This study offers a quantitative evaluation method for assessing the effects of various worker safety and health participation programs and incentive systems using digital platforms on voluntary safety participation. Furthermore, the research contributes to establishing a self-regulatory prevention system and enhancing accident prevention at industrial sites.
