Abstract

This paper proposes a continuous operation strategy and voltage regulation of a distributed DC microgrid (DCMG) by detecting voltage sensor fault and false data injection (FDI) attack using the Kalman filter. To identify abnormalities of system, two Kalman filter-based observers which monitor the secondary control output and DC-link voltage (DCV) value separately are integrated into the proposed control strategy. Moreover, the estimated values are utilized to decide the control scheme of each unit in distributed DCMG system. To ensure the continuous power management as well as the DCV stabilization, the power unit operation is immediately adjusted to a proper control mode, if the FDI attack or sensor fault are recognized. The performance of the proposed control strategy is validated through several simulation tests with PSIM software environment.
