Abstract

This paper proposes a CPWG-fed reconfigurable beam steering antenna using a bended dipole and circular loop combined structure. The proposed antenna can steer the beam directions by controlling two RF switches (PIN diode). The maximum beam directions are +30°, 0°, and 30° in the azimuth plane, and the overall gains are 4.0 5.4 dBi in the operation bandwidth of 2.39 2.59 GHz.
