Abstract

The structure of H₂Me₂bpzb (1,2-bis(2-pyrazinecarboxamido)-4,5-dimethylbenzene) was determined by X-ray crystallography. The symmetry operation (-x, y, -z + 0.5) generates the whole molecule. The molecule is not planar with C7-C6-N3-C5, C5-N3-C6-C6#1, C6-N3-C5-C4 and N3-C5-C4-N1 torsion angles of -32.93(19), 149.06(14), -172.91(11), and 5.64(15), respectively. 2005
