Abstract
TV viewing environment has changed to an environment that allows experiencing various broadcast contents. The past television viewers were able to watch programs that only broadcasting at a fixed time. Currently, users can able to select various contents by selecting desired contents at the desired time by using the VOD service that provided on IPTV and D - CATV platform directly by the user. In this paper, we surveyed the viewing behavior and preferred programs of D-CATV VOD users. We also analyzed the past users of VOD services and the current VOD service users. The number of users who have not used VOD has decreased compared to 2013. The number of TVOD service users has more than doubled compared to FVOD users. The overall rate of male and female VOD usage has increased. We hope that the results of this paper will serve as basic data for the current D-CATV usage and will be used as data to increase the D-CATV VOD usage rate in the future.
