Abstract

Various technologies are being studied for realistic video conferencing. Research on stereoscopic images is active during the study of realistic video conferencing. In this paper, we propose a depth image-based rendering (DIBR) system with Kinect. Kinect is a device that can obtain 3D information with a depth camera and is used to generate 3D images. In the proposed system, we create 3D images from depth images obtained from Kinect through DIBR technology. Also, we control the three dimensionality through hand motion recognition.
