N2 - USN (ubiquitous sensor network) is a core ubiquitous computing technology. As such, combined with RTLS (Real-Time Location System), it enables easy remote gathering and monitoring of physical-environment information using diverse sensing technologies, processor integration technology, and wireless network technology. USN and RTLS have technological similarity and influence each other but have been researched on separately, thus indicating the need to conduct research on combining the USN and RTLS technologies and services with the aim of providing advanced services. This paper presents a new scheme for building of a monitoring system that combines realtime location data gathering and processing technologies based on ubiquitous sensor networks. The system is characterized by the outstanding stability and economy of location data as well as by the implementation of diverse services by connecting with other systems. These strengths will boost the efficiency of the existing management systems.
