Abstract

Fabrication process and properties of Au-based alloys and Ti implant for medical application were investigated in this work. The topics include 1) bonding strength between Au-based alloy and porcelain, 2) bulk strength of In-added Au-12Pt-O. 6Cu-O.SSn-xIn alloy, and 3) bio-active calcium phosphate-coated Ti implant. For each dental material, microstructure and properties were discussed as a function of processing variables.
