Abstract
A kinematic mechanism based on a 4-axis motion platform was designed, and the corresponding rotational angles of the driving motors were calculated through an inverse kinematic analysis. Motion-platform based exercise equipment was produced, and foot-pressure measurement and motion-platform driving capabilities were realized in a single system. In addition, rehabilitation treatment enables real-time foot-pressure monitoring. By applying an interpolation method to derive a clear output value of the foot-pressure sensor data, reliable measurement data can be secured even when measured from a low-cost mat-type sensor.
