N2 - The paper proposes a fully distributed approach for economic dispatch problem (EDP) in power systems. The goal is to determine the output power to meet the load demand economically. In this paper, a simple algorithm is proposed to solve EDP under capacity constraint. The proposed method only needs its local cost parameters and the local predicted load. Simulation studies show the effectiveness of the approach.
