Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of perceived employment anxiety on organizational commitment and safety behaviors in Seoul metro PSD maintenance practitioners. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, the effects of job anxiety perceived by employees on organizational commitment and safety behaviors were investigated by hierarchical regression analysis. As a result of the hypothesis test, it was found that the employment anxiety does not have much meaning to promote organizational commitment, but it helps to strengthen safety behavior. This is due to the use of convenience samples to select the sample. The results of this study suggest that to induce or strengthen safety behaviors and prevent the safety accidents of PSD maintenance workers, it is urgent to eliminate employment anxiety. Especially, safety work that is directly connected with the safety of citizens does not take publicity. It can be grounds for the need for employment security. However, due to the nature of the sample, it may be difficult to generalize the empirical analysis results to all irregular workers.
