Abstract
A cache co-ordination scheme for shared web proxy that co-ordinates cache contents by considering re-reference likelihood of web objects and loads of proxies is presented. Trace-driven simulations show that the proposed scheme minimises object fetch cost by exploiting temporal locality of web access and by coping with unbalanced workloads.
